New 1/24th scale RTR crawler release

Losi has come out with a new addition to the crawler scene. It is a 1/24th scale RTR crawler. The truck incorporates a 4WD tranny and worm gear axles. http://www.losi.com/Products/Default...rodID=LOSB0236

Here is the truck next to the Losi 1/36 scale Desert Truck. The Desert truck is about 1 inch shorter in length and about 1/2" taller in height than a standard mini-z, to give you some perspective of its tiny size.




We are working on some modular table top rocks for this vehicle and should have information available shortly. Pictures of our modular rocks are below. They are in stock and shipping now.

Losi will have two versions available. First is the RTR, which comes with a complete truck, transmitter, batteries for the transmitter, a rechargeable battery for the truck and a charger for the truck battery. It also includes batteries for the charger.

Second is a BND. (Bind and Drive) version. This will come with everything above, except the transmitter and batteries for the transmitter. You can use any 2.4ghz Spektrum radio that incorporates DSM technology.

The worm gears allow for a smaller axle case, which helps the small scale. There is a lipo battery upgrade as well as some other nice upgrades coming from Losi. Once this truck hits the market, there will be tons of upgrade parts becoming available from the small vendors. I so want one of these! I think anyone who wants one this side of christmas should pre order,these things are going to fly off the shelves!
I like the sound of the BND version,will they work ok with DSM1 tx's?

I believe any surface radio with DSM technology will work with the BND version. The BND version should sell around $119 or close to it with the RTR running around $150 street price.
